Protection of vulnerable groups

“There are social needs that we perceive, see and that we must try to remedy. We will work to achieve social equity by providing support to ensure that no citizen is treated or considered “second class”, that no person is exploited and that we all live with the dignity we deserve. There are many vulnerable groups that if we reach them, we promise to give wings” Marisa Bautista, Director of the JLGB Association

At the JLGB Association we support projects and initiatives aimed at addressing problems or needs that affect the most vulnerable groups, understood as groups of people who face significant disadvantages and barriers in society due to factors such as their nationality, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, language, economic resources, age and others.

Our work focuses on promoting and supporting initiatives that focus on addressing the problems or needs of one or more of these groups and providing them with support in a broad sense, promoting solutions for their social and labour inclusion, improving their quality of life, reducing social and/or economic inequalities, creating and/or strengthening support and care networks or developing and implementing public policies that help to face these challenges, among others.
